We’ve spent a ton of time talking about brand new MINI vehicles, from the tech to new releases to everything else. But haven’t taken a ton of time to talk about what really makes MINI different from other brands: The combination of heritage and customization that make MINIacs a thing. And rather than just talk about it, I wanted to share this video with all you MINI enthusiasts.

What do you get when you combine a 1970s MINI Cooper with a 3.5 liter V6 out of an Acura? An insane 500 horsepower machine that has a power-to-weight ratio of a Veyron.

Definitely not your typical MINI in this video, but for sure every MINI enthusiasts dream for rally. From the power available in the vehicle to the excessive noise that let’s everyone know (or think they know) what’s coming around the corner, it’s a speed demon’s dream.

Now, the part that will really catch you off-guard about this build isn’t the power of it; instead, it’s the size of the price tag. To reach a 500 horsepower machine like this, it would cost you $150,000, or at least that’s what this MINI Cooper ended up costing. Is a car like this worth it to you?
