MINI Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance

It comes standard with every new MINI* and is one of the most comprehensive scheduled maintenance programs in its class, covering recommended scheduled maintenance for up to 3 years or 36,000 miles (whichever comes first).

To receive these services at no cost, just schedule an appointment at your authorized MINI Dealer while your MINI is covered by this program. And since all services will be performed by a MINI trained and certified technician, using genuine MINI parts, your car will be maintained to our exacting standards. Which are, admittedly, higher than most.

MINI Maintenance+

Upgrade To 7 Years or 125,000 Miles

Purchase MINI Maintenance+ To Add:

  • Replacement of wear-and-tear items such as brakes, wipers, and clutch (for MY 2017 vehicles and up)
  • MINI Maintenance program transferability to a new owner, should you sell your vehicle.

Extend Your Coverage:

Extend MINI Maintenance+ 1, 2, 3, or 4 additional years or 89,000 miles for a total of up to 125,000 miles. As an original owner or lessee of a new MINI, you can decide to add this coverage at any point before your MINI reaches the end of its current coverage.

Schedule Service

*All model year 2017 MINI vehicles and newer sold or leased by an authorized MINI dealer come standard with Complimentary Scheduled MINI Maintenance for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles whichever comes first. Only the following maintenance items are included with Complimentary Scheduled MINI Maintenance when they are performed as outlined in the vehicle’s Maintenance booklet:

  • Engine oil and filter
  • Brake fluid
  • Vehicle check (Inspection)
  • Cabin microfilter
  • Engine air filter
  • Spark plugs
  • Remote control key battery

NON-TRANSFERABILITY
Complimentary Scheduled MINI Maintenance program is an exclusive benefit that applies to the initial purchaser, owner, or lessee of a new vehicle, sales demonstrator vehicle, Aftersales Mobility Program vehicle, or BMW Group company vehicle from an authorized MINI dealer in the United States (including Puerto Rico). Coverage is not transferable to subsequent purchasers, owners, or lessees. The sole exception to the non-transferability of coverage is that household transfers transfers within the United States (including Puerto Rico) to members of the household of the initial purchaser, owner, or lessee of a MINI vehicle from an authorized MINI dealer – will not terminate coverage. Household transfers are limited solely to transfers to a current or former spouse or spousal equivalent, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild from the initial purchaser, owner, or lessee of a vehicle. In the event of a household transfer, purchasers, owners, or lessees of a MINI vehicle should promptly advise their authorized MINI dealer to document and confirm the household transfer for purposes of coverage. The payoff of a loan on a vehicle by the initial purchaser and the purchase of a leased vehicle by the initial lessee are not considered transfers for purposes of coverage. Loaner Car Policy

Loaner Cars are available for scheduled appointments expected to take longer than two hours.

Due to insurance regulations, the driver of any Loaner Car must be 21 years old. The driver must present a valid driver’s license, credit card, and proof of insurance before operating a Loaner Car. Only the person(s) listed and signing the Loaner Car Policy may operate the Loaner Car.

All Loaner Cars are NON-SMOKING vehicles. A detail fee of $299.95 will be charged to the driver who smokes in any Loaner Car. Pets are not permitted in Loaner Cars.  A detail fee of $299.95 will be charged to the driver who transports their pet.

The Loaner Car must be returned on the day the repair is completed or when agreed day is scheduled. A usage fee of $59.95 per day will be charged to the driver who fails to return the Loaner Car on the repair completed day or agreed upon day.

All traffic, parking tickets, bridge and road tolls are the responsibility of the driver of the Loaner Car.

A fuel fee will be assigned at a rate of $3.75 per gallon added to the vehicle at the time of return. All vehicles will carry a minimum of 1/4 tanks of fuel. The guest will be responsible for adding fuel for personal use beyond that 1/4 tank.
